The product

The content brings them in. The learning keeps it with them.

A Japanese learning app and browser companion, built around the things people actually want to watch, not just another list of flashcards.

  • YouTube videos
  • Netflix & anime
  • Browser companion

01 / IMMERSE

Watch what you love

A creator’s vlog, a favourite anime or a Netflix scene. Start with native Japanese that gives your audience a reason to keep coming back.

02 / UNDERSTAND

Understand the subtitles

Open words for their meaning in context. Unpack the sentence instead of losing the thread, or reaching for a different dictionary every few seconds.

03 / USE IT

Recall it. Say it. Make it yours.

Bring what you watched into recall and output practice: retrieve vocabulary, build sentences and practise speaking, rather than only recognising an answer.

04 / GROW

See your Japanese grow

Keep useful words in your vocabulary and revisit them through practice. Levels and learning progress make the work you put in visible.

Use supported videos and titles with suitable Japanese subtitles. Netflix learning uses the browser extension and requires the learner’s own Netflix subscription. Availability varies by title, region and platform; Glosaire does not supply or license a streaming catalogue.

From “I understood that” to “I can say that.”

The viewing session is the beginning. Glosaire connects comprehension to active practice, so your recommendation has a learning story your audience can try for themselves.

Recall a word

What was the word for cherry blossom?

Reveal the example answer

桜 (さくら)

Use it in your own sentence

Describe something you saw today, in Japanese.

今日、公園で桜を見ました。

Today, I saw cherry blossoms in the park.

Example practice prompts. This preview does not record audio, grade your answer or change learning progress.

Would your audience actually use this?

If your viewers already enjoy Japanese videos, culture or anime, and want to understand more of it, there’s a natural demonstration to make. Teachers and comprehensible-input creators can show the experience with their own videos. No big following required; audience fit comes first.

Some Japanese foundations help. Show a level-appropriate video and an honest session, not a promise of effortless fluency.

Know what you earn

Eligible Net Collected Revenue is what Glosaire collects from an eligible website subscription after discounts, indirect taxes, refunds, chargebacks and credits. If it is $100, a Standard 30% partner earns $30; an expressly assigned Founding referral cohort earns $40. Glosaire absorbs payment-processing fees; these fees do not reduce your commission base.

Eligible payments are determined when they occur. The window starts with the customer’s first successful qualifying payment and ends at its 12-calendar-month anniversary. It remains tied to that customer across cancellation, resubscription or a replacement subscription. A payment is eligible only if it occurs strictly before that anniversary. An annual plan’s initial payment qualifies; an ordinary anniversary renewal does not.

Website subscriptions only. App Store and Google Play purchases are excluded, even if the learner previously clicked your link. A learner can use their eligible website subscription in supported Glosaire apps.

Learners who sign up through your referral link may get 10% off their first qualifying website purchase, only when configured. It does not stack with another offer and does not promise an extra reduction on an already discounted annual plan. Use the offer wording we supply.

A clear payout schedule

Each commission has a 30-day hold. Approved commissions available at a calendar month’s end are paid within the following 30 days (monthly Net-30), once the available balance reaches $25 or the local-currency equivalent. Smaller balances carry forward.

Example: a September 1 payment clears its 30-day hold on October 1. If approved and your available balance is at least $25 at October 31, payment is due within 30 days after October 31. Verification, refunds or missing payout details can delay eligibility.

For newly approved partners, payout options managed through our payout partner may include Stripe Express, bank transfer, or PayPal, depending on the enabled method, your country and your account. No method is guaranteed automatically. Recipient processor and currency-conversion fees depend on the provider, country and account. We confirm availability and complete payout setup after approval; no payout account or raw bank details are collected locally when you apply.

Available payout methods are confirmed after approval

Payout methods available through our payout partner vary by country, currency and account. Availability is confirmed after approval.

Questions before you apply

How are referrals attributed?

Glosaire stores one referral binding on the learner account at signup: an existing Glosaire user referral takes precedence, then an eligible partner referral link. Link attribution lasts 60 days. Later clicks, including another creator’s link, do not overwrite Glosaire’s stored binding.

What if a customer cancels?

Cancelling future renewal without a refund does not reverse commission already earned. The same customer keeps the first-payment 12-calendar-month clock across cancellation, resubscription or a replacement subscription. Refunds, chargebacks, credits and reversed payments can reduce or reverse the related commission.

Can my videos appear in Browse?

You can optionally nominate your channel and up to five of your own public YouTube videos suitable for learning. With your permission, our team may feature approved links and normal YouTube attribution. Submission does not guarantee placement. You keep your content rights and can ask us to remove the feature.

Can I refer myself?

No. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, spam and purchases made to generate commission are prohibited.

How should I disclose the partnership?

State clearly, near the recommendation, that you may earn a commission. For video, disclose in the video and near the link; use platform paid-promotion labels where required. A buried description or ambiguous hashtag is not enough.

Apply to the partner program
