Glosaire publishes this comparison. It was checked on 11 September 2026 against Lingopie's official pages. Catalogues, availability, plans, trials, and device support can change, so check the official flow before purchasing.

What Lingopie documents

Lingopie describes a subscription library of shows, films, stories, and other media with learning features. Its subscription-plan help page lists clickable and dual subtitles, interactive flashcards and quizzes, grammar support, and plan conditions. Its official overview describes a multi-language media library.

That is a different starting point from choosing a video source yourself. It does not mean every title is available in every country or that a listed feature creates the same learning result for every person.

Where Glosaire differs

Glosaire's Web product is Japanese-focused and connects signed-in watch, vocabulary, and practice flows. Its browser extension supports YouTube and Netflix in a browser. Start with the Web app, and check current extension availability before choosing it for Netflix. Title, subtitle-track, region, device, and account conditions can still affect either workflow.

These interactive Glosaire examples illustrate lookup, comprehension, and review interactions in the current site. They do not represent Lingopie or compare measured outcomes.

As a worked check, pause on a single line, inspect the comparison marker, and see whether you can recognise it in a fresh prompt the next day. The example is Glosaire material only; use the same check in either service before choosing.
